G-Next Co., Ltd.
G-Next, ONFET and OIO have signed a Letter of Intent regarding a business collaboration to release the blockchain-based customer information credit management service, “Discoveriez Credit Database” (tentative name).
G-Next Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Minoru Murata; Stock Code: 4179; hereinafter referred to as “G-Next”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Letter of Intent with ONFET PTE. LTD. (Head Office: Singapore; CEO: Chia Hock Lai; hereinafter referred to as “ONFET”) and OIO Holdings Ltd. (Head Office: Singapore; Executive Director: Yusaku Mishima; Singapore Exchange: KUX; hereinafter referred to as “OIO”) for a business collaboration involving the release of “Discoveriez Credit Database” (tentative name). “Discoveriez Credit Database” (tentative name) will enable the sharing of customer information in a secure setting via the use of the blockchain (distributed ledger technology) infrastructure solution “TSURU” provided by ONFET.
Initial Consideration of the Business Collaboration for the Release of “Discoveriez Credit Database” (tentative name)
Since its founding, G-Next has been promoting the digital transformation of customer services, and working to support a consistent customer experience. To this end, we are building a system that allows information to be shared and used at the appropriate time among each stakeholder. However, harassment by customers has been recognized as a serious social problem in Japan during recent years. As the number of incidents increase, companies and society as a whole need to take measures against it, and so companies have reaffirmed the importance of managing both customer information and credit effectively. Companies are required to formulate clear policies against harassment by customers, educate their employees and provide a safe environment for them, and handle complaints in an appropriate manner.
In response to these issues, we believe that the introduction of the Discoveriez Credit Database – a customer information and credit management service that utilizes blockchain technology – will contribute to the improvement of transparent, secure operations as well as increasing the trustworthiness of companies.
We believe that blockchain technology can be a powerful tool for companies when it comes to providing safer, more reliable services based on data transparency, anti-tampering measures, enhanced security and building trust and rapport with customers. Not only will this reduce the risk of customer harassment, but it will provide a better overall customer experience.
ONFET’s blockchain infrastructure solution, “TSURU” is also designed to be optimized for enterprises. It offers a unique solution that solves other issues such as gas fees, integration into existing systems and interoperability between different infrastructures and environments. We plan to design a flexible service that can be used by a variety of companies.
Overview of the Business Collaboration
For both customer centers and call centers that handle customer service, effective methods of differentiating and utilizing data when it comes to customer complaints (VOC: Voice of the Customer) vs. general customer feedback such as requests and praise about products and services is a long-standing issue.
This business collaboration will help companies to streamline their regular operations and turn businesses into profit centers by providing the best and fastest responses to harassment by customers.
